Led by Adam Dunn, VP of Design, and Nina Venice, Associate Design Director, the Four Hands design team creates compelling narratives every year by thoroughly examining how people live and their needs at home. Each narrative is brought to life through up to two years of thoughtful design work on individual pieces.   Here are the top design stories that Four Hands will be telling in 2024: Goodbye, Trends Mixing Design Eras Sustainability in Design Spaces to Settle In Beauty in Imperfection Elevated Outdoor "These pieces are meant to last for generations and be passed down." – Adam Dunn, VP of Design The 2024 Design Stories encompass a wide spectrum of styles. "Goodbye Trends," urges us to say farewell to fleeting looks by embracing robust statement pieces that serve as anchoring elements in a space, while "Mixing Design Eras" sets forth styles that transcend singular historical periods.   Regenerative woods, recycled materials, and vegetable-tanned leather set the stage for the "Sustainability in Design" story, which champions a more climate-conscious approach to materials, construction, and sourcing.   From the soft embrace of the Samena Chair to the stately, storage-driven design of the Admont Double Bookcase, the styles seen in "Spaces to Settle In" come together to cultivate an inviting atmosphere, just as simple forms and elegantly aged patinas create the backdrop for "Beauty in Imperfection."   The "Elevated Outdoor" narrative achieves an indoor aesthetic for outdoor living. Soft, durable fabrics, woven all-weather wicker, and teak frames create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
